Baptist Youth & Family Fellowship (BYFF)
BYFF News
Hi gang,
Just to say we hope you can join us for the Family Fellowship
Movie Night this Friday, April 25 in Memorial Hall. There will be an
assortment of G- and PG- rated movies to choose from, of which we
will show one or two, as well as plenty of popcorn and other snacks.
Best of all, it's FREE! Hope to see you there!
Blessings and love,
Phil & deb :)
Hi gang ...
Since we've not been able to do our Spring planning session with
the group yet, we hope you don't mind that Phil and i took the
liberty of scheduling the month of April, just so there could be a
BYFF newsletter this month. We didn't include any service projects
or fundraisers because we don't commit the group to those things
without asking the members first. Never have and never will.
At the planning session, which we hope will happen this Friday,
we will schedule May and June, as well as discuss things that were
mentioned earlier.
The schedule for April is as follows:
Regular meetings on Fridays, April 4, 11, and 18. Time may still
be 7:00 P.M., but that may change after the planning session. If it
does, we will let you know.
Saturday, April 12 - "Arise!" worship event at New Life Christian
Church, 272 Lowell Rd., Hudson. The event begins at 7:00 P.M. and we
will take anyone who wants to go, whether they regularly attend BYFF
events or not. We will meet at the church around 6:15 and leave no
later than 6:30. Here is a bit about it:
What should I expect? Arise is a movement of a generation of
students living life for the glory of God! Each event combines great
corporate worship (kickin' music!) with the Arise team with a
creative challenge to live out our lives as worship before God.
Who is this intended for? The style and focus of the event is
designed for ages 12-25, but anyone is welcome.
Friday, April 25 - Family Fellowship Movie Night, 7:00 (?) All
welcome! The group will choose the movie. Refreshments will be
served, and we will also celebrate the month's birthdays if there
are any.
That's about all for now. Hope to see you soon, take care and God
bless!
Love, deb :)
* All meetings consist of prayer, business, Bible study or discussion, and a time of fellowship and refreshments (F&R) unless otherwise noted. Jr./Sr. High students are continuing their study on the book of Revelation. Younger members are having "talk sheet" discussions applying Biblical teachings and principles to everyday life issues.
